Renowned training and development expert Sylvia Marshall will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the City of Newport Business Club.

The event will take place at the Celtic Manor on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Following a successful corporate career, most recently as training director for AIG, Sylvia launched Able Training International Ltd in 1992, growing the business to a market leader in its sector within ten years.

Renowned for thinking differently, her work, both as an entrepreneur and a mentor for companies including Scottish Widows, Direct Line, AIG and Lloyds, is widely documented and her role as a female business leader, coupled with the diversity of her career, has secured widespread exposure in every national newspaper including the Mirror where she currently has a business advice column.

Dubbed 'one of the most inspirational and hardworking women on the planet', Sylvia is a respected speaker, known for her straightforward advice and willingness to help others. She has managed a successful corporate career, built her own businesses and speaks from a wealth of experience.
