All we ever seem to hear is that house prices are going through the roof and that indeed does seem to be the case for the most part.

However this doesn’t mean that all houses for sale have very high asking prices. The latest Paul Fosh Auctions sale demonstrated that you can still buy a decent property for less than £75,000.

It's worth keeping your eyes and ears open if you are looking for a bargain and if you don't mind where in Gwent and surrounding areas you buy, there is plenty of choice out there for you.

Remember to also factor in those renovation costs for some of the cheaper properties. Here are the ten cheapest properties which sold in the Paul Fosh Auctions December sale.
