CRITICALLY acclaimed stand-up comedian Andrew O’Neill brings his sell-out Edinburgh show Alternative to Cardiff next month.
The vegan, anarchist, occultist, transvestite, heavy metal-loving funny man explores why he has chosen to live in an alternative way.
Since his Edinburgh Fringe run in 2009 with the critically acclaimed Occult Comedian, he has performed stand-up on the televised Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala and was one of only three comedians to film guest appearances for the new series of Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle.
Already a huge hit in comedy clubs across the UK, O’Neill also has a following in the heavy metal and rock communities - he was master of ceremonies at the world renowned heavy metal festival Sonisphere last summer.
He also headlined the Download Festival Comedy Stage and hosted the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Event in June alongside the great Alice Cooper.
O’Neill will be at Cardiff’s Koko Gorillaz on February 19. See www.kokogorilaz.
