Haven holidays, the UK’s biggest provider of family holidays, has reported an increase in bookings of 10 per cent - so where are they all going?

Traditionally the most popular locations for UK summer holidays has been the South coast with Devon and Cornwall always being the number number choice. But creeping up in the popularity front are Wales and Norfolk So what do these regions have to offer?

The National Geographic magazine recently rated Pembrokeshire coast as the second best coastline in the world and Tenby was awarded yet again a Blue flag award for its beautiful sandy beach.

You will find more long sandy beaches in Norfolk along with the infamous Norfolk Broads and of course not forgetting the excitement to be found at Great Yarmouth.

Tim Gibson, Haven’s Sales Director, said: “Many families have been taking advantage of our early booking offers.

“But these regional trends could indicate that customers are staying closer to home.

“Our 35 parks are dotted around the coast so for the majority of families it means it won’t take them long to reach the seaside.”
