Paisley Park, the private estate and studio complex of the late rock superstar Prince, is opening for public tours later this year.
Bremer Trust, which is overseeing Prince’s estate, announced the news.
Its news release said millions of Prince fans will get the chance to tour the 65,000-square-foot complex in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen, where the star died of a painkiller overdose in April.
Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, said in the statement that opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on.
The plan submitted to the city of Chanhassen said the tours will include studios where Prince recorded, produced and mixed most of his biggest hits. Also featured will be thousands of artefacts from his personal archives.
The daily tours will start on October 6.
