THE MONMOUTHSHIRE Show, which takes place next Thursday (August 30), annually attracts around 20,000 visitors from town and country and is one of Wales’ largest one-day country shows.

Taking pride in being a major livestock show where cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and pigs are exhibited, the show is also delighted to host one of Wales’ largest open dog shows with over 1,000 entries and a wide range of breeds.

The Adrenaline Tour, a quad and motorcycle stunt show, will headline the event, with displays in the Country Matters Ring from Usk Gun Dogs, Black Mountain Falconry and Chris Green, Countryman.

The Discover the Country area will give a chance to engage with country skills, and Gwent Young Farmers will hold the Monmouthshire Sheep Derby.

The Monmouthshire Show is a premier shop window for a ‘taste, try and buy’ experience in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

With over 350 trade stands, from local food and crafts to heavy machinery, there is plenty to interest all.

Set in the heart of the Wye Valley, the show offers a unique oneday experience bringing together a wide array of attractions.
