The music of The Doors will be celebrated on July 21st as tribute act The Strange Doors take to the stage of The Hog and Hosper in Pontypool.

Made up of four experienced musicians who came together in 2010 united by a shared love of The Doors, the band will take the audience back in time by recreating the sights and sounds of the sixties psychedelic rock legends.

The Strange Doors not only replicate studio versions of Doors classics such as Light My Fire and Break On Through but also recreate the live Doors experience including ad-libbed poetry, jazzy organ solos, and bluesy slide guitar and powerful, yet subtle drumming that punctuates the music and vocals.

All this lead by a singer that recreates the energetic performances of Jim Morrison with a rich baritone voice.

The Strange Doors at The Hog and Hospers in Pontypool will commence at 9pm with tickets costing £6 on the door or order online at wegottickets.com/ event/173604
