FRIDAY night is metal night at Pontypool’s Hog and Hosper when two local legends SmithGrind and Blue Gillespie take to the stage of the popular music venue.
SmithGrind are no strangers to the Hog stage playing a mixture of punk rock and metal. This band are particularly known for their cracking version of Ricky Warwick’s Wild and Wonderful.
Prog metal four piece Blue Gillespie are loved by fans who like their music loud, tighter than a drum skin, and unapologetically real. Formed in November 2007 they have already released two EPs and two albums to their credit.
Fans will be able to hear offerings from their latest release Seven Rages of Man on stage tonight.
