AMERICAN indie punk rock artist Franz Nicolay is heading to Cardiff as part of his UK tour on this August.
Xtra Mile Recordings are proud to announce that the formidable and incomparable talent of Franz Nicolay has joined the label and will be releasing his brand new album this summer.
The multi-instrumentalist, who releases his third LP Do The Struggle, on Xtra Mile records on August 6, recently worked with producer oktopus, of the innovative New Jersey industrial/ hip-hop group dälek in order to move beyond the singer-songwriter soundworld to create a dark, explosive, and cinematic opus of personal and political anger.
With the help of Guignol rhythm section John Bollinger on drums and George Rush on bass and tuba and guests including Ezra Kire, Do the Struggle stitches together the anthemic Pogues-meets- Arcade Fire of The Hearts of Boston.
Franz Nicolay will play the Full Moon in Cardiff on August 18. For more information, visit thefullmoon cardiff.com
