THE internationally-acclaimed musical Mamma Mia! will come to Cardiff Bay’s Wales Millennium Centre next Christmas for the first time.

The production has been enthralling audiences around the world for the past five years and has now been seen by more than three million people. Inspired by 22 of ABBA’s best-known hits, the musical tells the story of a mother and daughter the night before the daughter's wedding.

Set on a Greek Island, Mamma Mia! is a story of love, laughter and friendship.

Judy Craymer, the musical’s creator and producer said: "It’s so exciting that the show is coming to Wales Millennium Centre. The production has been so embraced by audiences around the world and I’m sure the people of Wales will have a fantastic time at the show."

Mamma Mia! is showing at Wales Millennium Centre for ten weeks from November 16 to January 23. Tickets range from £15 to £42.50.

They go on sale from 10am on Monday.
