PRENDERGAST Christina (Founding owner - The Handpost Florist) On 19th May 2023, peacefully at the Grange University Hospital, Christina aged 81, dearly beloved Wife of Tom, much loved and devoted Mother to Mark, Matthew and Elizabeth. Adored Grandmother to Tyler, Ethan, Kieran, Eliana, Kellen, Anais, and Great Grandmother to George and much loved mother-in-law to Izabella, Andrea and Kevin. Our hearts will be forever broken, but forever rich and overflowing with the love you encircled us all with. We will love and miss you forever and always. God Bless You for eternity as you sleep peacefully with our Lord. Funeral Wednesday 14th June 2023. Requiem mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Stow Hill, Newport at 12:15 followed by interment at Christchurch Cemetery and refreshments afterwards at Whiteheads Sports and Social Club. Immediate Family Flowers Only. Donations gratefully received in lieu of Diabetes UK and Myeloma UK. We invite you to wear an optional splash of colour, as Christina believed a funeral should be a celebration of life, but please dress as you feel most comfortable.
