DISMAL weather did not stop around 250 people enjoying a Gwent fireworks display at the weekend.
With displays getting under way in the weekend before Bonfire Night, crowds headed to the event in the grounds of Bedwellty House and park on Saturday.
The second event of its kind saw a bonfire lit, juggling with fire, a hog roast and lantern making.
Due to the rain, the fireworks were let off ten minutes early. Head gardener John Munn said: βIt went well but the weather was atrocious.β
