Girl, 9, in hospital after being hit by car in Abercarn
A nine-year-old girl hit by a car in Abercarn this afternoon has been taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
The collision happened on High Meadow, on the A467 at Abercarn at around 4.30pm.
The extent of the girl's injuries is not yet known.
