A FRIEND of a motorist killed in a double fatal road crash on the Heads of the Valleys road a week ago has had a tattoo inked in his memory Phillip Bath, 29, from the Coed Cae estate in Nantyglo, died after his Peugeot car was involved in a collision with two motorbikes, with the rider of one, Glyndwr John Evans, also killed in the incident.

A tribute site set up on Facebook called “RIP Phillip Bath Let Memories Live On” has now amassed more than 600 members, with a huge number of pictures and tributes being posted.

One of those posting, 20- year-old Patrick Lewis from Blaina, uploaded a picture of a tattoo he has had created to remember Mr Bath, also known as Kinky.

The design encompasses a large winged cross with the words “Loving Memory” above it and simply “Phillip” below.

Claire Powell, Mr Bath’s partner, wrote: “There’s so much I wanna say but I don’t know where to start.

“I’ve clicked on and off this place must be 100 times just typing in the words just makes me burst into tears.

“I’m still waiting for u to beep outside or to come and collect ya van from outside my house.

“Ellie sat next to the van earlier and broke down in tears it’s so hard to watch.

Wish you was here to see howmuch you are loved and will be sadly missed.”
