A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital after falling from a bridge in Cwmbran.
The 13-year-old, of Fairwater, fell from the bridge named the ‘Banana Bridge’ in Ty Gwyn Way, on Friday evening.
She was taken to hospital but her parents said she suffered from minor injuries and is now settling back in at home.
The bridge links Greenmeadow to Thornhill.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to an incident at the bridge at around 7.40pm where a female patient was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital’s accident and emergency department.
Gwent police had no information on the incident.
