CWM’S two-time world snooker champion, Mark Williams, has celebrated a new addition to his family.
The 37-year-old has been dividing his time this week between being alongside wife Joanne at Abergavenny’s Nevill Hall hospital and competing at the Welsh Open at the Newport Centre.
He spent much of the day at hospital ahead of his 4-1 defeat to world No.26 Robert Milkins on Wednesday night, but his disappointment was to be short-lived as Mrs Williams gave birth to the couple’s third child yesterday.
Williams took to Twitter to announce the news, telling fans: “Baby Willo arrived safely. @jodenwill (Mrs Williams) and baby doing fine. Need to find a name now. Big thank you to everyone in Nevill Hall hospital.”
His brother, Anthony Williams, replied on the social networking site: “Big congrats to my bro @markwil147 and sister in law @jodenwill on the birth of baby no.3 #uncleagain.”
