TELEVISION personality and entrepreneur Peter Jones, pictured, is the latest name to be announced for a Newport celebrity golf tournament.
Business tycoon Mr Jones, best known for his role as a judge on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, will tee off against other celebrity golfers from Wales, Ireland and Scotland, at the tournament at the Celebrity Cup tournament at Celtic Manor Resort on May 10-12.
Mr Jones will represent England against other golfers, including Welsh 400-metre runner Iwan Thomas, comedian Rob Brydon, Olympic hero Sir Steve Redgrave, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and Scottish football legend Kenny Dalglish.
The Celebrity Cup forms part of Golf Live, a golf show with Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie.
There will also be a gala dinner on the Saturday night which will raise money for the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation.
