FIRE crews from Duffryn and Malpas rescued a horse which had fallen into a reen this evening.
The horse got into difficulty in a reen off Ty Mawr Lane, Marshfield, at about 5pm but was rescued by fire crews and the large animal rescue unit from Malpas using lines and straps, and was later released unharmed.
