Caravan damaged in Blaina blaze
A TOURING caravan was severely damaged by fire late on Tuesday night in Blaina in what the fire service believe to be a deliberate attack.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service received the call to a house in East Pentwyn at 10.58pm where a car had also been slightly damaged by direct heat.
They attended with two hose reel jets and one breathing apparatus.
A spokeswoman for Gwent Police confirmed they are investigating and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Gwent Police on the non-emergency number 101.
