Police appeal after assault on woman in Malpas
GWENT Police are are appealing for information after an assault that happened at around 11.45am yesterday.
The victim, a 42-year-old woman was walking down the "black path" in Malpas which leads from Blackett Avenue to Baird Close when she was approached and grabbed from behind by a man. The woman defended herself and the man ran off.
The man is described as being white, approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a bright green jumper and a dark checked "deerhunter" style hat with black fur lining and flaps covering his ears.
