LITTLE charity fundraiser Jacob Chappell threw a garden party at his parents' to raise cash for a children's hospital.
Jacob, six, collected £80 selling hotdogs, cakes and plants and putting on outdoor games at home in Tudor Road, Newport.
The Glan Usk School pupil decided to organise the fundraiser for the Noah's Ark Hospital charity after suffering from asthma and bowel and bladder complaints.
His mum Claire, 36, said: "He made a huge effort to raise £53.40 on the day and after gift aid and donations from his old nursery school, Fairoak Nursery, he made a total of £108.
"He spent some time in Royal Gwent Hospital and has been through a lot in the last six years. He's gone from one illness to the next.
"He likes to look after people. We are so proud of Jacob and applaud his efforts."
Jacob even donated the left-over plants neighbours had given him for the party to his school and old nursery.
