Fire crews at Newport blaze
FIREFIGHTERS are battling a blaze in a large amount of refuse in a derelict site at Nash Mead, Newport.
Five appliances are at the scene and 16 firefighters are involved in the incident.
A water bowser is on scene, and fire crews have called for a hydraulic platform.
Crews crom Maindee, Duffryn, Cwmbran and Caerphilly are involved and the service received the call at 2.10pm.
