There are times when I feel sorry for the Royal Family and this is definitely one of them.

He has had to endure the eyesore that is Newport station, although I notice his visit is centred around Tredegar house so he can at least avoid the festering wasteland that is Newport town centre.

oh I agree !! at least he hasn't had to walk through the town and see the empty dirty boarded up shops!! plus stow hill where the homeless are sleeping in door way of former nightclub the mess around that area and basement below is a disgrace!
