A POWER cut affected around 100 people in Lliswerry in Newport this morning.
The shortage occurred on the Leeway Industrial Estate around 11.20am.
Nineteen of those affected are still said to be without power.
A spokeswoman for Western Power said it had been caused by third party damage, thought to be a contractor.
She added: “One hundred customers had their supply cut off from about 11.20am and all but 19 had power restored within an hour.
“There are still people waiting to have their power restored. The company hopes this will be all done by about 2pm this afternoon.”
