Ahead of their gig at The Moon Club, Cardiff tonight Andy Howells chats to The Dirty Youth

Who are you and how did you come together?

We are The Dirty Youth. Formed in 2007 through mutual love of music with the intention of taking over the music world.

Where are you from?

Danni (Vocals) and Luke (Guitar) are from Cardiff, Matt (Guitar/Piano) is from Cwmbran, Leon (Bass) - Pontypool and Phil (Drums) - Abertillery.

How would you describe your music style?

We're a straight up rock and roll band with a pop flavour ;)

What’s been your best live experience?

Download Festival, touring all over EU and playing alongside Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park was also pretty cool!

We are playing a home town Christmas show tonight Friday 20th December at The Moon club in Cardiff and we have just announced a 36 date U.K and EU tour for March/April 2014.
