Monmouthshire fire crews tackle car blaze

MONMOUTHSHIRE fire fighters attended a car fire on the link road just off Wonastow Road, Monmouth, at 7.42am this morning.

Crews used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put out the fire.

A fire service spokeswoman confirmed that the cause of the fire was accidental and that no one was injured.

There was no one in the car at the time.

Crews have since left the scene.
