Sounds like you spoke to one of the LAZY plods that should NOT be in the job, letting dn the good ones that work hard.. Pity you didn't get his/her number or log, lots of good people out there ready to replace him/her, what was the plod thinking ? this could have caused a serious accident ! that is why we pay the Police with OUR Council Tax to do a job on looking after our safety !
Use correct words next time you ever have to phone them and I can assure you that PLOD WILL do his job !

was it on 999? can see why you might have had a less-than-enthusiast
ic response if it was.

still, well done for using your phone to report it instead of slowing down and using it to take pictures!

Maybe It was just Larry the Lamb on the instructions of Mr Mayor having a trip around Toytown.

I reported to the police a month ago of sheep straying onto the road at Grove Park roundabout. I wonder if they took it seriously at that time? A month is plenty of time for the police to investigate and try to ensure that repairs are made to fencing by the sheep's owners!

Or her job. You could be risking ten years in the Pot Noodle mines for such lack of equaility and diversity awareness!
