Diabetes UK Cymru is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help co-ordinate a collection weekend at the Pontypool Tesco store during Diabetes Week.
The Big Collection weekend will take place in Tesco stores on June 13, 14 and 15 with the aim of raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for Diabetes UK, as part of the major national charity partnership between the two organisations.
The partnership aims to make life better for people with diabetes or those at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
Diabetes UK Cymru is recruiting 28 team leader volunteers across Wales and is looking for a team leader in Pontypool to co-ordinate the Big Collection weekend locally.
Team leader volunteers will work with Diabetes UK Cymru staff and their local Tesco store to prepare for the weekend, co-ordinate the collection over the three days and motivate a team of collection volunteers.
