A MAN has suffered spine and head injuries after falling 30ft at a quarry in St Arvans.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) specialist line rescue crews were alerted to the incident, which is thought to have happened at a quarry in the area, at 4.57pm.
Jennie Griffiths, of SWFRS, tweeted the man had fallen down a vertical cliff face, and added his injuries are not "time critical".
Crews and paramedics attended the injured man, while a helicopter has been called to attend the scene.
Rescue crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service are also assisting SWFRS with the incident.
