A LORRY driver was cut free from his cab after his vehicle came off the road and fell 12 feet down an embankment in Monmouth last night.
The 44-year-old man was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital for treatment after his articulated lorry left the A40 at around 10.20pm.
Crews from Malpas and Monmouth used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the driver.
