Cash stolen from Chepstow Road bookmakers
A 'SIGNIFICANT' amount of cash was stolen from a bookmakers in Newport yesterday after a raid on a shop on Chepstow Road.
Three men entered the Ladbrokes branch at around 9.35pm, and one man approached the counter and demanded cash. Police say a "significant amount" was stolen. No one was harmed.
Gwent Police ask that anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call 101 quoting log 491 06/08/14.
