First published in News by

If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

It would have to be Sir Alex Ferguson. As an avid football fan, I found his work ethic, never say die attitude and ability to evolve his managerial skills to fit the culture of the modern day footballer inspirational.

What is your biggest fear?

Disappointing my friends and family.

Do you have any superstitions?

I'm not overly superstitious, but in my spare time, I am dedicated to coaching my son's junior football team and I must wear the same clothes for the following match day if we are victorious the week before, which I am pleased to say is more often than not.

If you could have one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?

It would have to be Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight, my wedding song.

What's the most expensive thing you've bought not including your property?

My car, BMW 1 Series.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?

I'm torn between two. "Always treat others as you would expect to be treated yourself" and "Don't count the days, make the days count".

What's your indulgence?

My passion for football.

What item could you not live without?

My iPad - both for work and play.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?

My ability to delegate, I have been known to be a bit of a control freak!

Where are you next going on holiday?

Sarigerme in Turkey, only five weeks and I can't wait.
