PATIENTS attending - or thinking of attending - the accident and emergency department at the Royal Gwent Hospital are being warned by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board that some delays are “inevitable” as staff are currently dealing with a high number of emergencies.

The board has apologised for any inconvenience, and is advising that where appropriate, patients consider using the minor injuries units at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, in Ystrad Mynach (open 7.30am-11.30pm, seven days a week), or Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan, in Ebbw Vale (open 9am-7pm, Monday-Friday).

Alternatives also include NHS Direct Wales for information and advice, on 0845 46 47, or the Choose Well pages at www.wales.nhs.uk

When are we going to stop the doctors we train from abroad using the tax payers money to get qualified then they go back home .Should we put a clause in the contract to say they have to work in the uk for a few years we then have more doctors to work in the uk .What do you all think about it .

Yet again David Cameron has been made to look stupid after his promise to slash net immigration. Many expect his bluff to hold a referendum over EU membership to be just as effective.

The number of immigrants flooding into Britain has soared dramatically, leaving Cameron’s flagship pledge to slash immigration in tatters.
Weak David Cameron’s promise to get tough by reducing net immigration to ‘tens of thousands’ a year suffered a humiliating blow with news that it rose by 40 per cent.
The Office for National Statistics said 243,000 more people moved to the UK last year than departed – an increase of 68,000 newcomers on the previous year.
European Union citizens accounted for 44,000 – or two-thirds – of the increase, including a rise in arrivals from Romania and Bulgaria.
Yet the EU immigrant figures hide something that we should be worried about.

You see, down in Italy and Spain they are being invaded by unlimited amounts of African - Middle Eastern mainly Muslim so called asylum seekers, who are landing every day, care of the EU’s directive that each person must be treated as an asylum seeker, rather than deporting them.
So far this year almost 140,000 have arrived and another 800,000 wait on the North African coastline for a boat.
The vast majority after one year are given permits to reside in Europe and as you can imagine they don’t stay in Spain and Italy. The destinations are Great Britain, Northern and Western Europe, where welfare payments are good, housing aid given and free health care sits awaiting.
These peoples (majority young males) from North Africa and the Middle East carrying EU permits are counted in as EU migrants, when in fact they are not.

The new figures for EU immigration show that for the first time since the annual population survey began in 2004, there were more EU citizens living in Britain – 2.5million – than held non-EU nationality (2.3million).
Experts told Mr Cameron that imposing limits was, in a reference to folklore, akin to ‘King Canute trying to hold back the waves’.

According to the quarterly statistics, a total of 560,000 immigrants arrived in Britain in the 12 months to March, while an estimated 317,000 people left....

every where is full, how long can this go on, when are the British people going to wake up, enough is enough, we are now importing radical Islam through the EU at an alarming, rate as these ONS figures show, and there's Millions waiting for free everything off British benefits, the best they can get, put the lid on the jam pot and the wasps will go elsewhere....
