STOW HILL in Newport is closed after a van overturned following a collision with a 4x4.
Gwent Police were called at 1.17pm after the crash on the junction of Stow Hill and Caerau Road, which has blocked both roads.
A white transit van and a grey Nissan Pathfinder were involved. The man driving the van and the woman driving the Nissan were not injured.
The 32-year-old man from Cardiff has been reported for driving without due care Officers are at the scene directing traffic.
A woman who lived nearby said she heard a loud bang just as she and her parents were about to sit down for lunch at about 1pm from Stow Hill Crescent.
