Flooding causes delays on M4 in Newport
UPDATE: 9.28am
An earlier crash on the M4 between J25 at Caerleon and J24 at the Coldra is also causing delays.
The vehicles are also on the hard shoulder on the eastbound stretch.
UPDATE: 8.24am
Residual delays remain and will further exacerbate the congestion heading West if J32 (Coryton) towards Newport.
FLOODING is causing long delays and stop-start traffic for nine miles on the M4 in Newport this morning.
The delays are eastbound between J26 at Malpas Road and J25a in Newport, because of earlier flooding.
All lanes have been re-opened. Congestion is also stretching to J30, At Cardiff Gate and is also affecting the A48(M) before M4 J29.
