A PARALYSED labrador needs more than £1,000 if he is to have any hope of ever running again.
Cwmbran sanctuary All Creatures Great and Small Animal Sanctuary needs to raise over £1,500 to send the dog, named Cole, to Bristol for to receive an MRI scan after after he twisted his back playing ball with his owner, in a freak accident.
The four-year-old came into the care of All Creatures Great and Small on September 15. He was taken to a vet, but nothing was discovered on an X-ray. His condition stabilised after a course of pain relief and steroids, but the sanctuary has said he seems to be deteriorating in the kennels.
Matt Nicholls, social programmes manager at All Creatures Great and Small said: “Cole is a the most happy-go-lucky dog and has certainly made a massive impact on all at the sanctuary.
“He desperately needs your help.
“Without a prognosis, the likelihoodlikely hood of finding Cole a his forever home is getting slimmer.
“The sanctuary has a no-kill policy but we need your help to ensure that Cole has the future that he so deserves.
The sanctuary is asking appealing for the public to help by holding a fundraising event or by making a donation. To donate text the word TOFO 92 £2 to 70070 or call 01633 866144.
