UPDATE 12.30pm: One person was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny following the collision.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8.58pm last night to a road traffic collision on the A466 in Redbrook in Monmouth, and responded with a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and a crew in an emergency ambulance.”

 

FIRE crews attended to a car which had crashed into banking on the A466 in Redbrook last night.

Crews from Monmouth and Malpas arrived at the scene on Redbrook Road in Monmouth at 9.02pm on Wednesday. The collision involved one car and all persons were out of the car when the fire service arrived.

Paramedics were at the scene and fire crews made the vehicles safe. The South Wales Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 9.31pm.
