The PubWatch Online scheme enables licensees to speak directly with each other and to Gwent Police. This allows all involved to react to incidents as and when they are happening.

and shows a real team effort in stopping this type of behaviour.

PubWatch also offers licensed premises the opportunity to share best practice across the industry and provides a forum for Gwent Police and Caerphilly County Borough Council to understand issues and discuss problems within a group.

Caerphilly Local Policing Unit Night Time Economy Officer, PC Adam Lang says: "People need to be aware that lots of the popular pubs in Blackwood and Caerphilly are now signed up to PubWatch and if you misbehave in one, your information will be shared with Gwent Police and other pubs and you could receive a ban varying from one month to life. It’s only the small minority that cause trouble but we want everyone to have a safe festive season and a Christmas to remember for all the right reasons. If you cause trouble this side of Christmas, your ban will be sure to last throughout 2015!"
