TWO Blaenau Gwent pupils became the new owners of an Xbox One after taking part in the Gwent Police Criminal Damage ‘Price Tag’ roadshow last month.
The ‘Price Tag’ roadshow saw Gwent Police visit schools during lunchtimes in the area with a car that displayed the costs of mindless acts of criminal damage on vehicles with exaggerated price tags.
Pupils had the chance to enter a daily lucky draw for a chance to win £10, donated by Abertillery, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Crime Prevention Panels, by answering some simple questions on the repair costs of criminal damage and all entrants then went into an overall draw for a chance to win one of two Xbox Ones – funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office.
George Bevans, 14, from Brynmawr Foundation School and Callum Meredith, 12, from Ebbw Fawr Secondary School were last week presented with their new X-boxes just in time for Christmas.
