Man who died in A465 crash is named
THE man who died following a crash on the A465 on Tuesday has been named as Alan Davies.
Mr Davies, 79, from Ebbw Vale, died in a three-vehicle crash on the A465 Heads of the Valleys road between Brynmawr and Ebbw Vale on Tuesday night.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm. Mr Davies was driving a Peugeot 107 and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the two other vehicles, a Ford Mondeo and a Volkswagen Caddy van, received minor injuries. They were both taken to Nevill Hall Hospital as a precaution and have since been discharged.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or the vehicles travelling on the road at the time of the collision to ring 101 quoting log 500 24/02/15.
