A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Abergavenny was arrested on suspicion of trespass and received a police caution on Sunday.
British Transport Police were called to Abergavenny rail station at just before 3pm on Sunday, March 29 to reports of a person hit by a train.
Officers located a man near the railway line who was uninjured and had not been struck by a train.
Arriva Trains Wales said cancellations had been made to services between Hereford and Abergavenny and trains were delayed by 60 minutes. Normal services resumed at around 5pm.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "The 30-year-old man, from Abergavenny, was arrested on suspicion of trespass at the scene and received a police caution.”
