A PONTYPOOL man has been warned at Cardiff crown court that he could face imprisonment for a series of drugs offences.
Barry Gullis, 33, of Twmpath Road, Pontypool, admitted possessing cannabis and amphetamine.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He had initially denied that charge but shortly before the trial was due he changed his plea.
His counsel Harry Baker said: "He pleads guilty on a specific basis to that charge, supplying to people he knew. He did have people going to his house.
"This is a matter capable of crossing the custody threshold and a full report is appropriate. He realises that a custodial sentence is likely."
Judge Philip Richards told Gullis: "You have pleaded guilty to a serious matter. It may be that the court will have no option but to send you into custody."
Sentence was adjourned and Gullis was released on bail.
