BLUES fans should make a date in their diary for the arrival of Trafficker in Ebbw Vale next month.
The group are fronted by one of Britain's top blues guitarists, Tommy Allen, although he hails from the distinctly uncool town of Basingstoke, Hampshire.
The singer-songwriter made his name not only by performing self-penned material with his band, but also as a session musician with the Sugababes, on their 2000 single Soul Sound.
Trafficker have built up a solid fanbase thanks to constant touring around the UK, both as headliners and support for established artists such as Walter Trout and Mojo Buford..
They reached a national audience with two session for the Paul Jones Blues Show on Radio 2.
Trafficker are appearing at the Beaufort Theatre, Ebbw Vale on Friday, March 9 at 8pm. Tickets are £10 or £8 for Blues Club Members. For bookings, call the box office on 01495 358800. For more information, visit www.blaenaugwentvenues.com
