THAT infamous teenager Tracy Beaker takes to the stage in an exciting family show opening in Cardiff next week.

Nottingham Playhouse present Tracy Beaker Gets Real, a new adventure which will feature all the original music and songs from the TV programme.

Follow Britain's most popular and volatile teen as she returns to the Dumping Ground, where she finds all the familiar faces. Justine Littlewood is still an enemy, Peter Ingham is still annoying, and Elaine the social worker is still a pain!

All Tracy wants is a real family and home but it never seems to work out that way. Sheriff, the new care worker, and Elaine have their work cut out when Tracy is boomeranged back to stay - that is until her mum returns from Hollywood...

Created by the multi-award winning novelist Jacqueline Wilson in 1991, Tracy Beaker has become one of the most popular characters of the twenty-first century. Following the original novel, her story has been adapted for radio and television in the phenomenally successful BBC series which ran for five series from 2002 to 2006. Now treading the boards for the very first time, as Jacqueline Wilson said, "Tracy will so love being a stage star!"
