UPDATE: 1.34pm: A Wales Air Ambulance spokeswoman said a helicopter from Swansea was sent at 11.53am and arrived in Newport 15 minutes later. It left at 12.44pm.

AN AIR ambulance landed in Belle Vue Park, Newport earlier this afternoon.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said the helicopter was sent after a man in his seventies fell at an address on Stow Hill. She said the man has suffered head injuries.
He has now been taken by road to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
