Fire service crew rescue horse from pond in Bettws
FIRE service crews rescued a horse that fell in a pond in Bettws on Thursday night.
Maindee and Ely crews used 'large animal straps' to lift the horse after it became very weak and fell into the pond in Mill Heath.
The horse was successfully lifted back onto his feet and led back to his paddock safely.
They had been called to the scene at 5.55pm.
