A 36-YEAR-OLD man today pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful wounding and one count of assault by beating relating to an incident in Ebbw Vale earlier this year.
David McAllister, of Stanway Place, Ely, in Cardiff, pleaded guilty to the three offences which happened on February 16 this year in King Street, Ebbw Vale.
McAllister was also charged with four other offences relating to the same incident, which he denied, at Cardiff Crown Vo
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of wounding with intent, one count of having an offensive weapon, a metal bar, on him and one count of having a kitchen knife on him in public place.
The prosecution accepted the pleas.
Judge Eleri Rees adjourned the case for sentencing on September 3.
McAllister was released on conditional bail.
