A 39-year-old Newport man has admitted stabbing a man in Llanhilleth.
David Hunt, of Alexander Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and possessing an article with a blade or point at a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court today.
A 40-year-old suffered knife injuries to his shoulder and cheek following an incident in the High Street in Llanhilleth, Aberbeeg, which took place at 3.45pm on May 14.
Judge Eleri Rees will sentence Hunt on September 4.
