POLICE have arrested three teenagers in Newport after attending an address at Cromwell Road today.
At around 1.05pm, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
A 16-year-old girl and another 16-year-old boy were also arrested on suspicion of public order offences.
All three are currently in police custody.
One eyewitness said he saw around 25 people and heard bangs and saw smoke about halfway along Cromwell Road opposite Masala Bites restaurant.
He said: “There were lots of police vans and fast response units.”
