A BARRY welsh medium school has welcomed its first male teacher in its mission to provide youngsters skills for life.
Barry’s Whitmore Bay RNLI and Bridgend volunteer lifeguard, Tomi Turner has joined staff at Barry-based Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, formerly Nant Talwg, as a Year 4 teacher in its primary part.
Newly qualified Tomi joins a school which has increased its pupil numbers this year following a continuing growth in demand for Welsh language education in the Vale.
